I joined this yahoo shopping group at the request of an online friend. It essentially was supposed to boost sales for us all. Despite my husbands pleas to drop out, I stayed due to a loyalty of these online acquaintances. As life happens, my friend had several life crisis at hand and could not manage the group. Before she had to give up the group, she allowed two new consultants in. These two new consultants have done nothing but complain about the group since day 1. Then one of these new consultants decides to ask if we are going to stay and asks for suggestions. When I write to the group and state that I do intend on leaving, her and her friend belittle me, and tell me how unfair I am to leave. Really? It is my decision, and this is the very reason why I don't like these kinds of groups. I want to move my businesses ahead, not bicker with other consultants on whether or not I am being fair. I don't need to be belittled in a yahoo group. I don't want to be in a group of bickering consultants, in my opinion, that is not a POSITIVE force in my life. I love interacting with people, POSITIVELY. Constant complaining about how things are run, is not a positive force, and to be honest, I don't want any part of that.
As humans, it is our nature, and as women, to criticize ...sometimes...but constantly.
I was the very first consultant for which people were to buy from. I sat patiently waiting for my next turn, knowing full well, it may never come. Yet I never said a word. That is called profesionalism. It is to be expected. It is where I want to take myself and my businesses. It is where I want my friends to be.

Learning new things today!

Accomplishment
That's the best term to describe it I think. I had to take my oldest out of her special ed class, and put her into another. And even though she is having trouble fitting in, the main reason she was taken out was because she was not doing well at all. WELL yesterday she came home with some great grade, and BEAMED from ear to ear! Accomplishment...yes, my daughter did need to see that she could do well on some things, and not just scolded for bad behaviour. Why I didn't remove her earlier, I really don't know I only hope she can keep things going! We all have issues, and seeing my daughter have a rough time with things is not easy! I had forgotten how truly mean kids could be. We are working on alot me and my daughters...but for my oldest to finally see the letter "A" on her papers....that is THE accomplishment she has been striving for!

Auction for Sarah
We are having an auction for this young lady May 16th through the 18th. Below is her timeline of events happening.
September 6th, 2007
I was in a car accident. It was considered a no-fault accident, so my insurance wouldn't covered my totaled Sable. I hadn't had my air-bags checked in a while and ended up very bruised.
November 1st, 2007
Accidental house fire in Highland, KS making me move back to Topeka and drop out of the college there. The fire was started from a small propane torch igniting itself on the front porch. We had to climb out of a window to escape. I didn't have renter's insurance so I lost everything without compensation.
December 24th, 2007
My step-mother passes away at 37 years old due to a heart attack after a week stay in the hospital. I stayed next to her bed side until she passed.
My nephew also passes away due to being born premature. He was alive for about a half an hour.
We couldn't pay for the funerals and ended up in debt just trying to cover what we could. My step-mother still does not have a head stone.
February 4th, 2008
I was involved in another car accident, this one more severe. I had just bought a truck. Paid 5,900 on the truck. It still had its 30-day tag on it. A 17-year-old kid ran a red light and right into us. They did not have insurance and I only had liability. The truck was totaled and there was no compensation on it, even though it was not my fault. I ended up having to stay in the hospital for a little while, as I was very pregnant and the collision bruised my belly pretty bad.

I am ordered to bedrest and have to take off of work. Trying to pay all of our bills, including my college tuition and a mound of hospital bills, becomes extremely hard. I do not have medical insurance and I have gal stones. I'm going to have surgery to remove my gal bladder during my stay from the birth. My fiance works very had at a fast food restaurant, but does not make enough for us to even cut even.
March 16th, 2008
My family's home burns to the ground. This one's cause is still unknown. The two-story home collapsed upon itself making it a complete loss. Everything that we worked so hard to build back up, was taken away, again.

My family is homeless. My fiance and I are trying to get a new place, but are having so much difficulty. I am almost 9 months pregnant, and we are having to bounce from couch to couch between family members, just to have a place to sleep at night. We had our hopes for a nice place, but we don't have the credit for it. Every day, we are getting more and more in debt and there is nothing that we can do about it.
I joined Pure Romance, using money that we really did not have hoping that we might be able to come out closer to even every month. As well, I want to do what I can to stay at home with my daughter. She is the one thing that keeps me going and she isn't even born, yet! I'm just afraid that I won't have much for her.
