About the Author
I've been writing, in one way or another for as long as I can remember; writing poetry, short stories, a romance novel secretly stashed under the bed and sappy love letters. Fiction should be fun. I wanted to create the perfect beach book, to make the reader laugh, cry and cheer... and then run out and tell their friends about it.My love of reading began when I was seven, the day I opened the cover of my first Mrs. Piggle Wiggle book. Mrs. P gave lessons to other children in how to behave and to me I learned to love the written word. I live with my family and demon children aka rescue cats in South Florida.

This fast paced book of Deborah Brown is a good stand alone, and the first I read in this series. It's nice to see powerful and empowering women take the lead in a novel. Follow Madison as she untangles the problems with her beach property, and deals with her mother with work. Madison is every woman as she deals with car trouble and Brick, car trouble and her love life. Watch how things turn out with Creole, Fab, and intrigue. Remember, the title is Murder in Paradise, so there's that, and watch how Madison solves it all!!! I look forward to the follow up. Until next time Carole

You would not believe the character that Madison started as. She did an about face when she moved there. Go back and read the series from the beginning. You'll be glad you did.
