Cinderella Cinderella!

This picture was taken last year. Who knew that while we didn't see Cinderella at Disney world, my two little divas would be in a musical. They really are enjoying themselves and I hope making some new friends that will last a little while. It's hard raising two social butterflies, and I really do enjoy my time with them, because I know that in a few years they won't want mom around much longer. I'm happy they still want me around for now. Even if it does seem they can never get enough of me. I can't wait until they pull the whole musical together! The people in the theater are very good with the kids. I'd be going crazy about now. I can't wait to see if we can get video uploaded. We are still trying to upload video on abbys first theatrical debut!

I love my job!!

There are times, I must admit, when I don't like it so much. Today is not one of those days. Imagine being cooped up with only your laptop and t.v. ....no kids, no husband, no one to tell you to clean, even your subconscious. Ya, I love my job. Now back down to earth. It has its perks, while I am not sure who screwed up today, I am definitely enjoying my peace and quWiet, and to boot, I got a new used car. A ford Taurus. Yep, I am feeling pretty good now. Sometimes, my job isn't so stable, so I have to be ever so diligent, and I do want to get back into the ICU ring for sure! Well that's all for me for now. I do have to work, but not until later. Then I double back on Sunday, which I didn't realize was Fathers day. I still need to get Chuck a present.

Follow up on Sarah: in case you were wondering

Sad to say we never did have the auction for Sarah. I know Christina Trejo is selling some stuff and giving her a %. Christina has had to return back to work herself...she's that kind of person, always giving. If you would like to know what it is Christina is selling for Sarah, you can reach me here by adding a comment. We had to cancel the auction, because after Christina and I blasted about the auction, everyone needed an auction for something. I'm not saying anyones auction was less important than anyone elses, but it sure did dampen things, and take away from Sarah. What seemed like a good reason to have an auction, didn't turn out. Ah well, you know what they say about good intentions, and the road to hell....right?

My future actresses

Now I do need to get a more recent photo, since they are 6 and 9. We are working on trying to get their last play uploaded to vid status so people can see. Right now Abby and Becca are in girl scout camp. It is their last day. Then starting June 16th they will start acting classes for a musical. Their musical this year will be Cinderealla. Anyone in the Illinois Area can come on by. Let me know, I'll tell you where the musical is going to be. It should be very interesting. What I didn't think would happen is that they would love this as much as they do. I look forward to it. They are very busy girls!

I still have to get Ms. Abby her tutor for the summer, and Becca believes that because it is summer she just needs to have fun, and that's it. If life were that simple for all of us.

Why I am really starting to hate shopping groups

I joined this yahoo shopping group at the request of an online friend. It essentially was supposed to boost sales for us all. Despite my husbands pleas to drop out, I stayed due to a loyalty of these online acquaintances. As life happens, my friend had several life crisis at hand and could not manage the group. Before she had to give up the group, she allowed two new consultants in. These two new consultants have done nothing but complain about the group since day 1. Then one of these new consultants decides to ask if we are going to stay and asks for suggestions. When I write to the group and state that I do intend on leaving, her and her friend belittle me, and tell me how unfair I am to leave. Really? It is my decision, and this is the very reason why I don't like these kinds of groups. I want to move my businesses ahead, not bicker with other consultants on whether or not I am being fair. I don't need to be belittled in a yahoo group. I don't want to be in a group of bickering consultants, in my opinion, that is not a POSITIVE force in my life. I love interacting with people, POSITIVELY. Constant complaining about how things are run, is not a positive force, and to be honest, I don't want any part of that.
As humans, it is our nature, and as women, to criticize ...sometimes...but constantly.
I was the very first consultant for which people were to buy from. I sat patiently waiting for my next turn, knowing full well, it may never come. Yet I never said a word. That is called profesionalism. It is to be expected. It is where I want to take myself and my businesses. It is where I want my friends to be.
